Necrophilia on network television

Is a character on one of the most popular t.v. shows really sleeping with a ghost? I mean, really? I keep waiting for the ball to drop (no pun intended) on this storyline, but it hasn’t happened. At this point, I don’t understand the point or where they could possibly be going with this. I’m wondering if Izzie (Katherine Heigl) on Grey’s Anatomy is wondering the same thing.

Don't get me wrong. I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but fans wanting Denny back is not a reason to write a ridiculous plot to bring him back. Flashbacks would have been much better. Come on writers, don't be a typical season 5 show where you get away from the things that have worked for you for four seasons.

King of Kong

We traveled to Houston for Christmas to spend the holidays with all of our relatives. Friday night, my cousins brought over a documentary called "King of Kong: Fistful of Quarters." It is a documentary about the "gamers" that are trying to break the Donkey Kong arcade world record. The movie is very entertaining, mostly because you can't believe that people really act like this. For the first half hour of the movie, I thought it was filmed in the 80's (check out Billy's hair). Then I realized in was the year 2007. Billy Mitchell, who held the record for a long time, is a huge douchebag that acts about as mature as my five year-old. The guy trying to break the record is a nice family guy and from there, hilarity ensues. I won't ruin it for you, but you have to see this movie.
